Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My baby crawled around in the playpen as I sat for 12 hours in sanding floors and removing wallpaper. Ha! The house was starting to look good, but there were still many things left. It would take the time, energy, and of course my favourite shopping experience to furnish this house. For my budget to remain intact, I went with three of my boys to look for bargains at estate sales. It was our weekly routine to walk around garage sales and auctions on Saturday and Sunday, and buy a variety of furniture, both new and old created. I'd spend my workdays in the driveway either painting or sanding. The look was a little similar to this... This is the place where my passion for in the process of restoring old furniture got started. Although our house had been furnished, I could not quit. There was a market in the area for me to market my items. Then, my collection got enough that the area I had was not enough. My home was where I began hosting open houses in which more than 1000 guests could visit and buy any item they wanted from the first floor over the course of a weekend. My company Growing Days began here. As my business flourished as did our family. There was a perfect balance between starting a business as well as being a mom. Growing Days seemed like the ideal match. My beautiful Nora was born in 2013, which was our 4th child. My business was going well but I was in need of a break. I decided to take a break from creating furniture for vintage homes, and slowed down my pace to be at home to take care of the kids. At the time, it was exactly what I needed. After some time. They asked for my assistance in decorating as well as renovations. Many of the people calling me were from those who came to my house at one of the furniture open houses. While I was working I began adding clients to my list in a series of. However, it didn't take that long before I was managing many clients and operated a successful home remodeling business. If you had said to me that this company of mine could become the basis of a television show for the DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. As I reflect back, it makes me giggle.
