Anne Phung Nguyen
My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my amazing husband JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. I am most well-known through my Instagram page, @annephung. In this blog, I will share my story-the highs, the lows and all in between. I arrived in America with my family and brothers at the age of just one and a half years old. older. I wouldn't be here sharing my life for you were it not because my parents are devoted to dedication and hard work. In order to give them a chance at a more prosperous future, I focused on success and worked hard to achieve it. I had a plan in life: go to university, get a job, get married, buy a house and have kids. My idea of success was to go to university after graduation, and then find an employment in a corporation. I would then marry to buy a home and start a family. Life had other ideas. In 2013, I discovered that I didn't like working in my job as a corporate employee. Money and status did inspire me. I believed that I was wasting time for a paycheck. While I moved towards my new life path I discovered that personal training was what I wanted to do. I am a lover of exercise and enjoy working in the company of people and am eager to help those around me. This year I'll be celebrating the 7th year anniversary of my business. In 2014 I began my own small business. It is rare to find an Asian woman working in this field. As a coach I'm determined to be a positive influence by providing quality training to aid others to become more healthy and happy. Additionally, I would like people to feel empowered to pursue their goals and achieve anything they desire throughout their lives. While my career was taking off I also lost my mom. The loss of my mother is most devastating of them everything. Following an 8-year battle with the disease, she is at peace on Heaven. I will never forget her and will always keep her in my thoughts and my heart. The lessons of life are often hidden from us yet they can prove very beneficial. There are many ways that my mom's death changed me. I honestly believe that she offered me another chance to experience her loss. Her death in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was the chance to create an entirely new chapter. To me, it was my second chance to live a fulfilling life. At the age of 30 I feel a sense of living and being alive. I'm not feeling as if I'm just a mere existence anymore. My life is shared with my readers so that I am able to talk about my experience and thoughts. This can help you realize that you're not on your own. You are capable of achieving anything you want to. Therapy is essential and is normal. Health is the greatest asset. It is my prayer to live your life at your best and never have regrets when it comes to the end of your life. We are the only certainty in life.
