Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in combat sports. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff to improve her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in the third round via TKO. The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round via TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound hit her for an TKO victory in the 2nd round. She continued her dominance and scored an even amazing victory in her subsequent match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger with a punch during the initial round, she was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent in the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in just 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously against her.
